Visual Production Manager (VPM-Lite): Shop Settings Guide

This tutorial covers all the tools and features of the shop settings tab.

1. Go to the top right corner of the page, and click on the three dots. Then, click shop options.

2. The section titled 'edit repair hours' add a new size category to jobs you take, along with assigning them new colors.


3. 'Edit repair steps' shows all of the repair steps in the repair process. Here, you can add, remove, and change the order of the current steps. 


4. 'Edit part status' shows all different parts status', along with their indicators. You can add, remove, and change them here.


5. 'Edit sublet/other' shows all sublet and misc. items, along with their indicators. You can add, remove, and change them here.


6. 'Edit work stoppage' shows the work stoppage reasons. You can add, remove, and change them here.


7. 'Edit card status' shows the different card status', the color associated with that status, and whether or not it's a background or outline color. They can be adjusted here.


8. 'Edit card timer hours' shows information about the timer on the cards. It allows you to set a maximum and minimum amount of hours, along with the color of the timer, and the background color in the timer.


9. 'Edit shop employee/roles' shows the employees that work at your shop, their initials, what their role is, and their phone number. You can add, remove, and adjust them here. In the VPM-Pro, it also allows you to send them a request in order to set up VPM - Repair Tracker.


10. 'Shop information' shows information collected from the control charts in the VPM (the charts above the VPM), along with general shop information.
