The program allows two forms of electronic two-way communication with vehicle owners. The first is email and the second is text (SMS) messaging.
For the purpose of organizing email addresses, the system allows the repair facility to direct emails to a central email box and to an individual employee’s email address. The location to input the email address for a central email box is on the "Shop Information" page. This email address is displayed on most screens visible to the vehicle owner.
The system will allow for an outbound email message, both automated and custom. However, the system does not log email messages like text messages. Email communication will likely occur between the email boxes ( the sender and the receiver).
