Setting the Reminder Days and Reschedule Options
Located under the Settings then location tab you can make changes to if the customer can request a reschedule themselves and how many business days before the customer will receive the reminder message.
- The repairer may choose the number of days, 1 to 7, which the system
will use to send a second confirmation message.
Each day is 24 hours, so
if the shop has it set to 1 day and today is Wednesday, if the vehicle
owner chooses a drop off day as the following Friday at 9
AM, the system will send a reminder message 24 hours before the
scheduled drop-off day, so it will send the reminder confirmation on
Thursday at 9 AM. If the system is set to 3 days, and the customer picks
tomorrow as the drop-off day, the system will not send a reminder since it
is within the 3 days lead time.
If the customer does not pick a specific
drop-off time, the system will send the reminder message in the morning on
the day set by the shop.
- The repairer may choose the
option to allow the vehicle owner to communicate they would like to pick a
new drop off date. If the vehicle
owner makes the request for a new drop-off
date, the notice will be displayed on the “TODAY” screen
under “Reschedule Requested”. The shop will be able to click on the
reschedule button and see the phone number to reach the customer to pick a
new date.
