Employee time off is located under the optimization tab.
1. Click the create button in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Fill the reason for the time off.
3. Fill the dates that you will be taking off.
4. Fill the drop off decrease.
5. Delivery decrease (details shown at the bottom).
How to calculate the percent of the drop-off decrease: Determined by the total number of hours produced by the production team. Divide the number of hours produced by the employee taking time off by the total number of hours produced. Since Thomas is taking time off, we divide 80/500 giving us 16% (rounded to the nearest whole percent).
On average, the team produces 100 hours per day. Since Thomas is going to be off, and he produces 16 hours per day, the rest of the team should produce 84 hours per day.
Each day the calendar displays adjustments made to the drop-off capacity, and it adjusts accordingly based on Thomas taking vacation.
Delivery decrease: Based on employee availability, the shop may want to reduce the number of delivery slots available.
For example, if a shop is closing early on Christmas eve, they might reduce their deliveries by 50%. This makes the delivery slots drop from 5 to 3 (since it's rounded up to the nearest whole number).
